The process I was using to make the pictures was to save some video (VLC)
snapshots and then put them together in Paint. Please tell me if by this method
I will be able to make a picture of the expected quality. If not I must find
another way, but I don't have Illustrator or any other complex design program
and my computer -like yours- is a slow one. It also took me a reasonable amount
of time to make the pics that were deleted.
An answer will be highly appreciated.

I saw this post of yours in the complaints thread, and while I cannot help youn
on the matter of becoming a regular member again, I can help you with working on
better wallpapers. It may also help you regain member status. and keep it with
your submissions.
First things first... 100% nono on screenshots. They really are poor quality and
mt has a high quality standard. #2 You do NOT enlarge any image for a
submission. This decreases the quality of an already poor quality image and will
decrease quality of high quality images too. #3. I'm sorry, but it would be next
to imposible to make anything mt-worthy in MSPaint. If you can, you could try to
find a free/shareware image editing program that allows for image modification.
I know what it's like to have computer problems while making images. good image
programs take up a lot of resources and the larger you make the image, the
slower the results can show in some cases. But if you get yourself an editing
program - one that allows brushes, effects, color adjustments - and layers are
practically a must, but I suppose you can make do without, I'm just used to
using Photoshop myself. Before you get your status unrestricted, you can try
posting your work in the forums and get feedback. You can try with paint, but I
wouldn't expect too much from reviews unless you've got some nice tricks up
you're sleeve and good design ideas.
I wish you luck in getting your status reinstated and improving your work! ^_^

Did you get my wallpaper off of mt? It's kinda sad... I'm going to clean off
some of my work off of mt because it doesn't meet my personal standards and I
think mt may delete them eventually anyway for use of screenshots and stuff One
of my wallpapers is made completely of screenshots, but I like it and it has 20
faves but mt policy doesn't approve of screenshot walls. I'll have toy make some
PSME vectors or something and make some nice walls.

I don't know about that... I was rather inactive from here for a month after mt3
started... but I did CHECK it regularily... hmm... I couldn't tell you... I've
never really been that inactive and I don't know all the mt3 rules because I
came a long time before mt3 and only know the things that immediately affect me.

It's not like I got good overnight though If you
look through the vectors in my gallery, you can notice the progression of my
skill as they go along
I wouldn't be able to give you pointers unless I see some of your work though...
everyone has their own styles and methods of doing things, the main thing you
need to keep in mind isappropriateness of lines, and continuations... I
personally believe a good vector isn't worth anythiing if it's not as complete
as possible though... If a snippet of body part is missing (top of the head,
elbow, toe, hand, ect) complete it and put it in. It makes the vector mor
versatile and able to be used in more situations... and bigger is better.

Haha, yes, it takes a while to get to be good at anything (you can go through my
gallery of vectors and see my progression, I've come a long way.) It's
definitely worth trying to vector some things... especially backgrounds. Being
able to vector backgrounds will mean that you can have more options when making
wallpapers... personally... I got my forte in characters and am only starting to
get good at backgrounds... but that's the way I've always been... I'm a
character person.

If you're worried about points... well I was never clear on how the system works
in MT3, but in MT2 you got points for giving (and getting) favorites.

Ahh, I remember when I used to feel the same way. It took me a LONG time to get
to the stage I am at vectoring now... I used to use paths and stroke with a
brush (before that I slowly dre outlines with a mouse.) now I outline the lines
with paths and fill them.

Host Club is a Romantic Comedy (the anime admits this itself!) It's the story of
a poor scholarship student named Fujioka Haruhi that has been accepted into the
most elite and uppercrust school around. Her peers haven't even heard of Instant
Coffee! Anyway, the story starts with our heroine wearing her dad's hand me down
clothes because she can't afford the uniform and she gets mistaken for a guy
when she stumbles upon the school's eccentric Host Club. Accidently breaking an
expensive vase she gets collared into working for the host club and becomes a
host herself! Entertaining girls to pay back her debt.
Haruhi's very straight-laced matter-of-fact character plays straight-man to her
off-the-wall fellow members of the host club. And her blunt honesty and
character makes most of the other guys in the host club fall for her, most
notably the King, Tamaki, but the Hitachiin twins and the vice president
megane-kun Kyoya also have their interests caught up in her. You can never know
what the cute looks-too-young-to-be 18 senpai Hunny thinks, and his cousin and
best friend Mori is only slightly easier to read and shows mild interest as
well.
This series is a feast for fangirls as the Host Club boys cater to every girl's
fantasy ~ for their own enjoyment and amusement as well as their customer's.
With the sheer amount of roses and sparkles in this series, the faint of heart
in matters of pretty boys tend to faint away. But if you don't mind a lot of
innuendo that's really just for show you can't go wrong with Host Club. It has a
wild following on 4-chan and really deserves it. The first 6 manga are out in
North America (I own them all, up to episode 9 has aired in Japan, and up to
episode 8 has been subtitled as of now. The many in japan is out to at least
volume 8.
