picture is the nicest I think. I generally like to have at least half of the character's body visible. If it's just a
close-up of their face, you have to add a huge amount of detail yourself unless you want it to look over simplistic.
Lol lol! I was going to do an Ayanami wall for CoK contest. But I seirously don't think I would finish it unless I had
another 2 months or something and I was feeling uninspired for the background haha =.=;;
Oh my gosh, I have no idea how many years ago I watched Sukishou... I don't remember anyone except the 2 main
characters.
For that one, I'd probably enlarge Ayanami to take up more space. Maybe vector the interior of his battleship or if
you're feeling lazy, just do some pillars and a omnious looking sky lol. And voila!
Hmm, I just started a collab with Kitten, and I think after we finish that, things at uni is going to get really hectic.
But if you're happy to wait till er.... around November, I'd love to do a 1/2 Prince collab :D
Now see, that's exactly the quality I lack in doing things... I start something and I look to BAM be finished right
away. I have tried vectored scenics before to poor reception. And I do not like the idea of only vectoring a scene for a
contest... A scene requires no thought besides "Oh hey, I can add X for texture." I like doing collage walls
because of this, because they are simple, but it requires thought for what scenes to use for the right impact, and how
should they be positioned?
As for close-ups... well, I love to vector and taking an itty bitty frame and turning it into an HD wallpaper... well
such a thing requires skill and vision. I sigh when there is a lot of quality lost... maybe I should post the Ayanami
vector and my source image for an example? Like
so. If you still want to, I give you permission to use this image for a contest entry, if you can get over the lack
of quality.
But yes, the same sample you mentioned is also my favorite for 1/2 Prince... now waiting so long...? Well not sure about
that, I may vector many items and make wallpapers myself in that time... but that does not stop you from taking my
vectors and making your own creations with them when you can I guess :3
