For the longest time I considered doing the same thing!Ithought that the two
crests looked like they were supposed to be one anyway, each with a half wing!
I know my vector Hunny, Mori and Bunbun! by
Terra-chan when I see it. I'm not upset that it was used but you make it
sound as if you did it all yourself Honey's hair was by far not the hardest part if you look at the original
scan... More like Mori's side and leg and arm.
But for the composition it is cute and simple... I may have played around with
the outlines to fill up the empty spaces left by the roses, might have been
interesting to have the silhouettes as space filler...
Very interesting... is one of the pens a reddish brown hue and the other more a
blue-black on purpose? It's an interesting contrast. On closer looking the lines
seem a little rough in places like the top around the dangling cords. The
composition is very nice, but I keep looking at the girl's bangs and trying to
put it together... What is bangs and what is eyelash, or eyebrow? It's an
interesting effect but in a composition like this, implied lines hurt my head.
When I first glanced this a few weeks ago, I was struck by it ^_^ I've been
waiting until my notifications were whittled down for a chance to full-view. My
first thought was that this was a cut above the other works I'd seen from you
^_^ You're pretty good with those pens and the detail on the mechs is nice. The
girl is also nicely proportioned and it's all so clean ^_^ *thumbs up*
I always peep in on your work Yoshimitsu :P And while I know where you're coming
from and I see exactly what you see, you're still a great deal better than the
average person. Plenty of people appreciate average artwork. And when doing a
comic it's the combination of story and art that is key. A great story will be
followed well, even with 'mediocre' art and poor stories will be followed with
awesome art. Having a decent story and decent art will be enough to make people
look.
But yeah, I'm in the same boat as you, above average, but below professional...
though you are certainly closer to professional with those inking and background
abilities... I don't know about how American comics work (I read too much manga
and their 'days of mangaka lives' bits...) but I can so see you being able to
get a job under a bigger artist. If you work on it, you might even be able to
get clean-up artist in an animation production. You're closer than most of us,
you just have to work on it!
This looks like the manga "Pieces of the Spiral" I've read it from the
library before~ so pretty... I'm not certain though since I can't remember the
artist's name... but I wouldn't be surprised if this Artbook is from the same
artist
I think it might have also been very strike if you'd allowed for just the skin
color eye color and blood with everything else being black and white All of the
deep brown is a little too powerful in my opinion, but that's just my personal
opinion in color choice - that's aways something personal :P fuhu
The effect of the glass IS gorgeous and well worth the effort. And finally
full-view loads and OMG it is amazingly beautiful! I still think Syaoran's hair
is too dark though... It was never that dark even in CCS and it doesn't seem
right... but seeing the detail on that floor... gorgeous... You keep getting
better at this stuff Sherry.
He looks like Light with long hair. I can't remember this character from HnG Though... must be a minor character, it's been a long time

I hold envy for anyone able to effect/texture/grunge things like that... It really is a stunning effect. ^_^

The characters in this are from Infinite Ryvius I think... You could slip it into that category ^_^
Aww one of them is crying ;-; You can't tell in the thumbnail but he is ^_^
I forget his name but he's the one that's always trying to keep things bottled up.
Lovely! You don't really see too many widescreen wallies... And it's about time I had a new one. ^_^

He looks so cute here. *cuddles* Awww he's my favorite of the three detectives, so innocent and such a great cook...

The one on the left kinda looks like Maho from Beck
Ahhh how disappointing... mt is so strict ;-; but at least the hotness of the guy almost makes up for it...
This looks like it's half of a larger image to me, is it?
I love how cute Soubi looks in this picture, he's adorable!
Yun Kouga has lovely art... Yay pretty glasses boys! The more the merrier!
The pose is awesome,so dynamic! ^_^
Nice.... the characters seem reminiscent of Cloud and Sephiroth
Give me almost any picture of a character in glasses and I'll squeal~ *does so*
Very cute... Generic Final Fantasy Doujin Art... ha... Yeah... I can see how placing can be a tough decision
Midnight Rendezvous! *sigh* All the sexiest men seem to be gay...
Hey Nakajima? Over here! Tease me! Though Keita's cuter than I am
